Brain Attack

During the leisure skills lesson, 2 students had argued over they should be sitting in the Art Room.
This caused some unhappiness in the class.
When I went back to the class, the teachers told me the incident that had happened.
I told the class “Ms Mohana is upset and feel like I have had an heart attack hearing all this.”
My student, Student looked at me and said “Yes, I had a brain attack listening to all of this”
I couldn’t help but laugh.. 😉

Valentine’s Day

13 Feb
Here is something cute that student said this morning:

When I reached the hall for silent reading, student came up to me excitedly.
She told me that tomorrow was a special day.
So I asked her, what was the special day all about.
She replied “It’s Valentine’s Day!”
And she continued, “Your husband must wish u, Ms Mohana.”
I smiled and asked her, “What else should he do?”
She thought for awhile and replied “He must buy u chocolates, flowers and a card.”
I couldn’t help but laugh.. :))

When I reached the class, I did a mini lesson on Valentine’s day and told my students that valentines day is for all their loved ones (family, friends and even teachers.) Some of them replied that they will make a card for their parents.. Student said she will make me a card.

Feeling blessed and loved..
Here’s wishing u a great Valentine’s day too..

A Big Fat Egg!

As the SA2 exams were around the corner, intensive revision was being conducted in class. I told the class, “If you don’t know how to do a question and don’t even try it, you will get a big fat egg (meaning a zero mark)” My student delightfully replied, “Ok, get me a chicken Egg.” Speaking of literal translation… 😉
