A Big Fat Egg!

As the SA2 exams were around the corner, intensive revision was being conducted in class. I told the class, “If you don’t know how to do a question and don’t even try it, you will get a big fat egg (meaning a zero mark)” My student delightfully replied, “Ok, get me a chicken Egg.” Speaking of literal translation… 😉

Fly in Da House!

Pathlight started our very own DJ booth since we moved into the new school. Student DJs are on shifts to host at the DJ booth for an hour in the afternoons.

A housefly happened to fly into the DJ Booth.
Student DJ ran out of the booth and exclaimed: “Fly in da House!”
He excitedly asked the trainer if he could called the programme that name.

Learning fast on DJ slang I must say!

Where’s the message?

Pathlight started our very own DJ booth since we moved into the new school. Student DJs are on shifts to host at the DJ booth for an hour in the afternoons.

Student DJ: Up next is a dedication from Daryl. ….well…. there is no message.
Student DJ: [long pause]
Student DJ: Well so let’s enjoy this song with no message!

Apparently the trainer forgot to include steps on what to do when there is no message in the dedication slip.
But our DJ handled in in his own cool way!
:)

Olympic Attack!

2008 – after the YOG campaign came to Pathlight

P1 Kid: Who will win – Singapore or Moscow?
Me: I don’t know. Who do you think will win?
P1 Kid: …Singapore.
(pause)
P1 Kid: If Singapore wins, will Moscow attack Singapore?
