While waiting outside for our turn to go into the music room for Performing Arts, teachers and students decided to play a game – naming things in the category.

Teacher: Okay this time round, you have to name planets. Ready.. go!
Student 1: Mercury! (clap clap)
Student 2: Jupiter! (clap clap)
Student 3: NABOO! (clap clap)

Obviously a Star Wars fan.

During science lesson, Mr Simon was going through the different kinds of energy. He touched on sound energy and asked the class whether they used alarm clock.

Mr Simon: class, anyone use alarm clock in the morning?

Student J did not raise up his hand.

Mr Simon: so student J, who wakes you up in the morning?

Student J: the pigeons.

I was helping out the 5×20 m relay for Pri 6 students and while most of the students have reached the finishing line, I noticed one student still walking slowly like doing a catwalk for a runway.

I encouraged him to walk faster and as he walked closer to me, I heard him singing out loud , “Im sexy and I know it!”

He was enjoying the race, with his own style!
